Patou Courtens studied at Maastricht University. She attended the bachelor European Law School and the masters Dutch Law, specializing in commercial and corporate law, and European Law School (cum laude). During her studies, she participated in the International Exchange Program in International and Comparative Business Law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and did internships at the Authority Consumer and Market in The Hague and Houthoff in Brussels.
Before her move to Paulussen Advocaten in 2021, she worked at Stek as an associate lawyer in the Competition and Regulated Markets practice group and the multidisciplinary Energy team.
At Paulussen Advocaten, she focuses on competition law, energy law and procurement law.
