Collaborative divorce

Divorce opens up all sorts of emotions and uncertainties for both partners in the marriage. But by agreeing to discuss the situation and its consequences with each other, many problems can be avoided.
Our lawyers can assist you during the discussion process by consulting with your (ex-)partner and their lawyer, if necessary guided by a coach-mediator and/or calling in specialists such as an accountant or tax consultant. The objective of a collaborative divorce is to enable both parties to quickly and efficiently reach joint agreement on appropriate arrangements, including for any children involved.
These arrangements are formalised by the lawyers for both sides in a divorce agreement that is signed for approval by both spousal partners.
The lawyers finalise the divorce proceedings at court on your behalf so you need not appear in court. Collaborative divorce can be an excellent option for all parties affected, especially when there are children at issue or a commercial enterprise is involved.
