Commercial law

Commercial law governs the legal relationships between traders (i.e. businesses), including the legal position of different types of traders, trading methods and commercial conflicts. It encompasses a myriad of laws and regulations, from company law and general law of obligations to competition law, copyright law and national patents law. If you do business across the border, your legal relationships furthermore have an international dimension, making them subject to international laws.
Our team is made up of specialised lawyers with experience of consultancy and litigation across the broad spectrum of commercial law. They can advise you about various commercial contract forms (e.g. distribution, agency and franchising and purchasing and sales agreements) and all possible attendant aspects such as compensation for losses arising from non-performance, retention of title, right of recovery, the dissolution of agreements and questions concerning force majeure.
We can also provide assistance in the event of disputes relating to any of these aspects, including in national or international actions.
