The team of Paulussen Advocaten is known for its world class climate litigation team. This public interest litigation is focused on holding governments and corporations accountable for their (shared) responsibility to prevent dangerous climate change.

The team has extensive knowledge of climate science, global climate policy, international law, human rights law and tort law.

Headed by Roger Cox, Paulussen Advocaten achieved historic and precedent-setting victories in the cases Urgenda Foundation against the Dutch State, Vzw Klimaatzaak against Belgian federal and regional governments and Friends of the Earth Netherlands and others against Royal Dutch Shell.
